Mordhau: Halfway there.. woohoo living on a prayer.

Mordhau is one of the most attractive games i have played in a very long time, with a large, and passionate playerbase that grows by the day, simple to pick up yet challenging to master skills, and a wide array of classes/loadouts the gameplay feels like something ripped from the pages of history, or at least from your favourite cheesy hollywood medieval romp. Smooth as butter I played a few matches and apart from near instant match making the first

Path of Exiles: Diablo MMO?!

“Path of Exiles: Diablo MMO?!” Hows that for a click bait title? and while it is partially true, the game-play is one of the best Non-Diablo ARPG on the market, its free to play with an incredibly fair system, relying mostly on convenience and cosmetic sales to keep afloat, it sells no items which provide a direct competitive edge in its cash shop. Boring stuff out of the way, how is it? Its a very solid and pretty title, combat

Eve Online : Spreadsheet Simulator 2018!

Standing the Test of time. Eve has lasted far longer than many would have suspected, apart from the moments of tense warfare the game is.. excessively dull, a simulation of the mundane, working the space equivalent of a 9-5 job busting rocks and then freighting them to market, however it is that mundane side that adds to the beauty of Eve, its not simply a game but a sci fi life simulation, you do not simply dart form one heroic

Life is Feudal: MMO vs Your Own

Two games, basically the Same. Life is Feudal games are basically the same, craft, shape the world, fight players, creatures, build things, look like a disease ridden peasant, get stuck in the landscape when you dig too deep, fall off cliffs, get stuck in landscape when you dig too deep, feel epic and powerful till you have your butt handed to you by a feral rodent.. get stuck in.. wait have i mentioned getting stuck in landscape yet? Overall the

NeverWinter: Free but doesn’t Look it.

Looks like a AAA MMO from 5 years ago. Neverwinter looks and plays like an AAA from 2013 and that’s not a bad thing, the game is over 5 years old and is performing well for its age, the community are active, development continues and the game generally feels alive for what i call a niche MMORPG, it will never challenge the big mmo, but is unlikely to vanish either, making enough to continue its development for the foreseeable future.

Conan Unchained: How is this still alive?!

Nekkid Ladies. As one of the few 18+ Mmo Conan exiles has broken the 4th wall of MMO gaming, yes that’s right topless player characters, sadly for some this would be the main reason to play, while i am not opposed to equal nudity in games(realistic nudity only, anime nymphs are just tacky) Conan has much more to offer than nudity. Combat is exceptionally solid, with some of the best direction combat ti exist in any mmo, while the engine

Call of Duty Black Ops 4: We all knew it was going to be good, but THIS Good?!

Its better than Black Ops 2 and that takes some doing. Black Ops 2 has earned itself the honor of having one of the longest runs of any CoD game, with a community that is still active 24/7 6 years from release!, while not massive, with a peak of 3k CCU  after 6 years BL2 has a community roughly on par with that of 2017’s Cod WW2! If you have a Pc that can run it you will find the

Lord of the Rings Online has died, will it live again?

I am not talking about raw numbers, player base wise Lotro as always after an update is slightly larger than normal, no the death i speak of is one of morality and ethics, Free to play gamers have been once again given a shank in the ribs, with the removal of key drops and the new replacement mote vendor having only a fraction of the tomes and buffs that the old boxes had, SSG have successfully pushed all the good

Star Trek Online : Its as good as bad as Star Trek itself.

I will begin with a disclaimer, i find the lore of Star Trek incredibly boring with the exception of Deep Space 9 and The Original Series, that being said as my hobby is being an lore Archivist i know enough about the Lore of ST to offer a fair evaluation of Star Trek Online. Holding together well Captain. Star Trek Online is no spring chick, its a clearly aging MMORPG but its doing so with grace, content is still in

Rift: Segregation the MMO

Its sad but true. I understand game development takes money, a whole truckload of it, so i am not opposed to paid packages, however there are times when that need for money goes too far and splits the population between paying players who are favored and the outcast free to play lepers , and Rift does this in a way few other MMO have, by making separate servers for paying users, that is right free and paid players are separated

Secret World Legends : Back from the Grave?

Great concept, odd execution. The Secret World on paper is a great idea, however both versions of the game suffer from some of the same glaring flaws, we will have a look at the good, bad ugly of both titles, and you may want to pout on a lamp and lock the doors before you play!. Better second time around. The Secret world had really odd combat, rather wonky graphics due to the aging funcom MMORPG Engine, and really slow

Minion Masters : Good Cheap Fun.

A child’s game? While Minion Masters looks very colorful it is not so much a childs game but a game for all ages, I would not say for very young as some of the minions can be a little frightening for very sensitive children, combat is blood free and devoid of all except cartoon violence, when playing against AI there are varying degrees of difficulty, however the game truly shines when facing other players, no two matches are the same,
