A Plague Tale: Innocence – Games could be the next Movies.

Before we Begin. Now before you jump into a movie loving frenzy of hatred and revulsion, i am not saying movies are a obsolete medium, I personally believe for as long as man endures there will always be a need for movies, plays, books, and yes games, all these share one common thread, stories, as Tyrion says in the Game of Thrones Final Episode, A story cannot be killed or conquered, it unites people, this is true, not because the dwarf

Battlefield 1943 : Alive after 10 years?!

Now 10 years for some gamers, must make their mouths dry and their teeth itch, yes we all know, any game made before 2019 is terrible, old, ugly, bad LOLZ, but for those of us with sense, a game that was good in 2009 is still good today. Battlefield 1943 while very much a console shooter, has held up extremely well, and while it seems a little simplistic compared to new battlefields, we can see the embryo of those modern

10 Games that are stranger than your uncle Larry.

1) Strange Brigade. Strange brigade never saw much success, partially due to its solid price tag and partially due to the man baby reaction to that price tag, don’t get me wrong, while it was a little on the hefty side price wise, the games overwhelming quality makes up for that price, at least in the eyes of non-manbabies and reddit trolls, they are a culture to themselves and hate everything outside their little bubble. Gameplay aside (which I found

Mordhau: Halfway there.. woohoo living on a prayer.

Mordhau is one of the most attractive games i have played in a very long time, with a large, and passionate playerbase that grows by the day, simple to pick up yet challenging to master skills, and a wide array of classes/loadouts the gameplay feels like something ripped from the pages of history, or at least from your favourite cheesy hollywood medieval romp. Smooth as butter I played a few matches and apart from near instant match making the first

10 Games that are so gosh darn cute.

Perhaps not for the most macho of hardened gamers whom rejoice at the slaughter of their enemies and the lamentations of their women, these games are just so gosh darn adorable they need a list of their own! 1) Bomber Crew Admittedly games about warfare aren’t the curtest but the adorable graphics and simple yet endearing game-play of Bomber Crew make this a game that appears to both lovers of strategy and lovers of cute little sprites, and adorable game

Adecke.. Well Grunt1914 lost another battle.

Just a few mins ago I finished reviewing Grunt1914 (by the same developer*) and said it was the worst unity game I had ever played, and already it has lost that title, by far this is the worst unity game I have played to date and while i am sure unity games will continue to disappoint me in the years to come, it will take some doing to beat Grunt 1914. I could try to list all the bad points

Grunt1914: A lesson in Failure.

Why simply why? I have to be blunt, i never like to be cruel but this could very well be the worst unity game i have ever played, and a lot of unity games are garbage, awful controls, character models, maps, sounds, the whole package, add in the fact its a multiplayer shooter with a peak CCU of 3 and you know where this is going. Oh unity.. that explains a lot. A lot of how awful this game become

BattleFleet Gothic Armada : Not everyone’s cup of Tea, but a fine Cuppa.

Reminds me of the Church , just with more elves and less singing. The campaign in itself is well written with gorgeous painting style cutscenes and very solid voice acting, the overall campaign feels very religious, and while as a follower of Jesus Christ and therefore a “believer/ religious being” i didn’t find the story offensive, however those who despise religion may find it uncomfortable. That’s not to say the God Emperor of Warhammer 40k is anything like God the

10 more indie games you may never play in 2019.

1) Die Young Normally Indiegala sells the type of indie games you wouldn’t want to play unless you were bored beyond explanation, and the games they have produced or worked with are either edgy or downright awful, yet somehow from that mire of awfulness they have produced a solid explanation puzzle horror title, a genre i had no idea we really needed, while most horror games take place in small cramped spaces like insane asylums, setting a horror game on

World War Z Review: Another Win for Epic Game Store

A good twist of fate. Its often the case that a zombie game is unpolished campy and feels like the B movies of yesteryear, And with few exceptions we haven’t had a solid 4 man co op game of this calibre since Left for Dead 2, with well written and designed co op missions, coupled with a solid and amazingly fun PvPvE mode that is what i have been after for years, the frantic feel of the Walking Dead, my

Little Green Men Age Well.. mostly.

Maybe it’s that smooth green plastic skin, maybe its the fact they spend most of their day stood still, saving calories and avoiding exhaustion, whatever the reason Army men games by 3D0 have well (mostly), we will take a look at the 4 games from the series available on steam. While all 4 suffer from a very low Res due to their release year, each have something to offer, from a shot of nostalgia, to actual mechanical brilliance lets dig

Far Cry 5 Season Pass : What a Disaster!

This review must be understood to be coming from a writer who loves the Far Cry series, someone who finds Far Cry 5 and Far Cry New Dawn to be some of the greatest games in the last 20 years, that being said the Far Cry 5 season pass DLC goes from tedious to dismal, and we shall look today at why each is so bad, and what should have been done differently. Hours of Darkness This was the bets
